How To Play Ayoheek
Ayoheek is the D'ni version of rock paper scissors.
It has a Beetle, Pen and Book instead.
Beetle beats Pen, Pen beats Book, Book beats Beeltle
Up to five people can play, but the scoring changes slightly if more than two are playing.
When you first sit down, you will have 100 points and be a level 1 player.
If only two people are playing you will win points off of each other's points total.
If more than two people play, you will win a point from each player you beat.
Once someone chooses their symbol, everyone else playing has five seconds to choose.
If you don't choose, you are not in that round.
As you play there will be some lights in front of you if you win a round.
The idea is to win three lights of a single colour,
for example win three red lights, or three blue lights, or three green lights.
The table will only show two winning lights because a third wins the game.
It gets complicated when more than two are playing.
The table will always follow the rule Beetle beats Pen beats Book beats Beetle
A majority beats the minority
if there are any others they beat what is left
For example,
Five players select Beetle Beetle Pen Book Pen
The only Book is beaten by the two Pens
and the two Pens are beaten by the two Beatles
Beetles win
If one of the Pens had been a Book,
then the Pen would have been beaten by the two Beetles,
and the two Beetles would have been beaten by the two Books
Books win
Remember, if more than two are playing, and all three symbols are chosen,
a single symbol will lose to two or more that are the same provided they follow the rule : Beetle beats Pen beats Book beats Beetle
