How To Participate In A Door Run

Here is a brief outline of how to participate in a door run:

Ideally 7 people each take a cloth and an 8th person calls the door numbers
Those at a cloth have which number they are established by the caller
The caller then presses the door, which has a center part that rotates and shows a sequence of numbers
The caller calls out the numbers one at a time in the sequence shown by the door
When each number is called, the person on the cloth for that number, presses the cloth, it should light up
When all 7 cloths have been pressed in the right order, the door should open
Those who need to run through the door should run until they are linked to a Bahro cave
Don't forget to touch the symbol on the wall

First familiarise youself with the symbols on the door:

Once you know the symbols and their numbers, you could call a door run.
Here are some tips:

Make sure every cloth is covered
Make sure everyone has typed /autoshout into the chat to turn on autoshout
Don't be afraid to ask people not use use text chat, you are leading a team remember?
Be prepared to explain everything you are going to do ... there may be a new player there who has never done a door run before
If you have a lot of people in the age, ask those at a cloth to type "yes" this gives you a list
When you have given each person their number, ask them to confirm their numbers (some will say "Roll Call", I don't like this phrase)
Mention where to meet for the next run.
When you press the door, type out the full sequence in the text chat ... like this
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 ... then type each number one line at a time
Do not be surprised if the lights on the door do not show up ... just take it slow and steady (but not too slow!) and you'll get that door open
Do not get frustrated if it takes several attempts ... stay calm and keep your team calm

This will need to be explained to everyone as not many people use this method

Type out the full sequence
The first person sees their number is first and presses their cloth. They then type their number into the text chat
Each person after sees the number before theirs and when it's their turn they press their cloth and then type their number into text chat

This method, if done right by everyone, should open a door not showing any lights
